Synopsis
Against the backdrop of the excitement of the Rugby World Cup, far from the official spotlight, this film focuses on the youth of the game. During one entire season, filmmaker Thomas Bardinet followed the youngest members of the Bègles team (Gironde) in their already advanced learning of this sport and its human values. Beyond the context of the sport, the film paints a tender portrait of an age - between childhood and adolescence –exploring the idea of the collective, the physical violence inflicted on the young bodies, and the trials of small defeats and the triumph of great joys.
