Synopsis
Carmen has been cleaning people's homes and her own for almost 80 years. From her Murcianatale, in Paris, and now in Galicia, she's been singing all this time too. It's her strength, her remedy for exile and humiliation. Today in the village, her voice mingles with those of young girls, also from elsewhere, who find in the tunes of their generation the material for their dreams. I'm going to realize the dream of my grandmother, who will become, in the course of her story interspersed with songs, the "real" singer she always knew she could have been.
