Synopsis

Carmen has been cleaning people's homes and her own for almost 80 years. From her native Murcia, to Paris, and now Galicia, she's been singing all this time too. It's her strength, her remedy for exile and humiliation. Today in the village, her voice mingles with those of young girls, also from elsewhere, who find in the tunes of their generation the material for their dreams.
